Rockville based Comfort Cases needed baby blankets and Twice as Warm provided them, a match made in heaven! Comfort Cases, a national non-profit that provides overnight bags filled with essential and comfort items to youth entering foster care, recently joined in a unique partnership with Twice As Warm. Twice As Warm's goal is to provide new winter clothing to people in need through local shelters and organizations. The special on-line promotion is underway now. An individual can purchase an organic cotton blanket and Twice As Warm will, in turn, provide the same blanket, one for one, to Comfort Cases. Initially, there will be 100 blankets sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.

“Comfort Cases serves the needs of all children, ranging from infants to teenagers, so we are always looking for products that convey hope and dignity to include in our cases. It’s critical to focus on details for each age group as they are obviously different but equally important. Together, we can truly make a difference to the thousands of children in foster care across the country, one by one,” said Rob Sheer, Comfort Cases Co-Founder.

“We were so inspired by Comfort Cases co-founder Rob Scheer that we simply had to find a way to help him and his amazing organization. Our “wear one, give one” model works and helps to raise awareness about both organizations that care deeply about people in need in our own local communities,” said Brian Lieberman, Twice as Warm Executive Director.
