Welcome to Fostering Change, a Comfort Cases blog!

We would like this blog to be a place for our supporters, volunteers, community members, and those in the foster care system - foster/adoptive parents, social workers, youth in care, and others - to share their stories. We will also be using this blog to shine a light on some staggering Foster Care Facts and we will highlight the ways in which Comfort Cases is impacting children and communities all over the country.

We appreciate the outpouring of love from so many people who ask us every day, “Are you in my area? What can I do to get involved?” Our team is working on some exciting volunteer and fundraising opportunities to be rolled out in the near future. These programs will allow our supporters across the United States to host their own official Comfort Cases events, so stay tuned! Of course, you can always shop our Amazon Wish List and our Dollar Days Wish List or become a Bag Buster for just $10 a month.

In the meantime, we are looking for contributors for this blog. Do you have a compelling story to tell as it relates to Comfort Cases or foster care? Are you a foster or adoptive parent, or a social worker or volunteer, with an experience you would like to share? Do you know first-hand what life is like in the foster care system? Are you an excellent writer who would like to help shine a light on some Foster Care Facts or help others tell their stories? Your voice matters, we want to hear from you.
